An original, completely hand printed greetings card, which has been designed and made in Devon, UK.
This 'Poison Bottle' greetings card references the curious and beautiful medicine or poison bottles from the 19th and early 20th centuries, which were embossed with 'poison' or 'poisonous' to deter accidental ingestion! Surrounding the bottle is an array of mushrooms and foliage.
Each design has been hand-printed using oil-based ink onto heavyweight, 260gsm Fabriano Medioevalis white card-stock, which is beautifully textured and features four deckled edges. The reverse also includes my 'chop mark' or traditional signature stamp. Each envelope also has hand-printed stars on the seal flap.
The card is blank for your own personalised message. Once the card has been opened and read, it could also then have a second life when framed on the wall as a unique piece of handmade art!

As everything is handmade, there will inevitably be some slight variations with each printing; likewise coloured prints with hand-mixed inks may vary slightly in pigment between batches. This is all part of the charm and uniqueness of your purchase, as no two items will be exactly the same! If the paper has been cut or torn by hand, please also expect very minor differences in size.
